Marya is a writer and the founder of ABQ Zine Fest-- a DIY publishing event now in its fourth year. She is a recipient of the 2013 Zine Librarian (un)Conference travel grant, and currently serves on the (un)Conference 2014 location search committee.  Over the course of one year, Marya has co-produced more than twenty-five shows at her collaborative performance space/clubhouse/zine library, The Tannex in Albuquerque, NM.
